Procedure Introduction:

The mechanical pain test measures paw withdrawal threshold of the mouse using the Von Frey filaments. Ten trials are carried out in succession measuring left paw withdrawal with size 4 filament, followed by ten trials measuring right paw with size 4 filament. Then repeat measurement is performed with size 6 filament.
